In his Hamburg-based atelier in the district of St. Pauli, Maurice Schilling creates collectible artworks and editions that originate in analogue painting and digital fine arts. Driven by intuition and present emotion, his mid to large scale artworks range from abstraction to Neo-expressionism with figurative elements and combined graphical references.

His compositions are hardly guided by preconceived ideas, they are discovered and elaborated in the course of execution. Characterized by an extraordinary level of detail they span from understated monochrome palettes to vibrant and expressive visual narratives.
